The vaccines can be obtained from Klinik Medi Intan Jalan Pudu, as well as during monthly outreach programmes. For local food handlers registered with DBKL ,MPSA and other authority , the typhoid jab will be given discount to RM 65.
When is typhoid vaccine needed? People who get the typhoid shot will need 1 dose at least 2 weeks before travel, and a booster every 2 years. People who get the oral typhoid vaccine will need 4 doses every other day for a week, with the last dose taken at least 1 week before travel, and a booster every 2 to 3 years
